The world is currently passing through a crisis that would be an understatement to merely call an economic or social issue. It is a crossroads for humanity where the blind race for wealth has not only shaken the moral foundations of societies but has also subjected the minds of upcoming generations to an artificial frenzy whose outcome is nothing but destruction. The greed for money has crossed its limits to such an extent that it has now reached those innocent minds that are still in the preliminary stages of understanding life and humanity.
The capitalist system always created an atmosphere of competition, but in today's digital age, this competition has assumed a terrifying form. Children who once chased butterflies, built sandcastles out of dirt, or marveled at the colors of a butterfly's wings, are today engaged in a bizarre race—trapped in online games, artificial achievements, fake fame, and fleeting joys captured in a few seconds of video that have no real existence. Minds are no longer shaped by parents, teachers, or society. Algorithms now build minds, advertisements alter thoughts, and corporate interests mold character.
The standard of living for the new generation is not judged by how advanced they are in knowledge, how mature they are in morals, or what level of dynamic force they represent in society. Their status is now measured by likes, followers, and artificial fame. The tragedy is that this race also includes adults who call themselves conscious and mature. When the priorities of the elders become distorted, how can the generations remain safe?
If one understands the game of the capitalist world, the reality becomes glaringly clear that this system consciously targets the innocence of generations. The monopoly of a few global corporations has grown to such an extent that they have commodified everything from human psychology to their very dreams. These companies do not just sell goods; they sell thoughts, manufacture desires, create fears, and then invent the cures for those very fears.
These dangerous trends are no longer confined to the economic sphere but are transforming the world on a mental and moral level. The intensity of materialistic desires has snatched contentment and satisfaction from within the human soul. Social media has created an environment in which everyone, in the hustle to outpace the other, is losing their humanity, their reality, and their identity. Desires have multiplied so much that a person now prioritizes brands, gadgets, and showing off over the future of their own children.
It would not be wrong to say that we have entered an era where the value of a human being has diminished, while the value of the devices they use has increased. The boundaries of humanity are shrinking, whereas the limits of profit continue to expand.
In such circumstances, the need for robust global laws to protect the human mind from capitalist exploitation is intensely felt. To safeguard the mental health of children, their moral upbringing, and their future, the world must unite and act. But the question is, will the global powers do so? Will those corporations playing in billions and trillions be willing to limit their own profits? Perhaps not. Because the real game of the world is run by those whose interests far exceed those of the common public.
Here, the fear also arises that perhaps we are already too late. Who are the groups holding power and capital on a global scale, where are their policies made, and in which direction are they pushing humanity—all this is no longer hidden from anyone. In today's era, the influence of billionaires is not just restricted to business; they dictate governments, policies, and even global trends. Looking at the tech titans, one realizes that the world is now shrinking into the hands of a few individuals.
It is no surprise that there is a prevailing fear among the public that the ones running this world might be those same hidden forces once termed the "Illuminati." And this fear is not entirely baseless; when humans acquire god-like conveniences, when technologies like artificial intelligence and mind control rest in a few hands, and when societies transform at the mere gesture of a few individuals, such apprehensions are bound to be born.
Today, ever-new theories circulate regarding prominent figures. Some say the tech kings control the future of the world; others label them as permanent members of secretive powers. It is commonly discussed on social media that big names in technology are on a mission to control humanity rather than improve it. Whether these theories are right or wrong, the core issue is that the common person feels insecure and powerless.
We must reflect on what direction we are ultimately taking our generations. Do we want children to become slaves to artificial intelligence? Do we want simplicity, innocence, and humanity to be erased from their hearts? Do we want global corporations to use our children merely as products?
It is time for the world to awaken collectively. Governments, educational institutions, parents, and intellectuals—all must come together and decide that the value of humanity is far greater than profit. If we do not take this step today, perhaps the coming generations will never get to see that face of humanity by whose light the world has operated thus far.
The progress of the world without humanity is a dangerous path. And if, while walking this path, we fail to protect our morals, our values, and the minds of our children, then perhaps history will never forgive us.
